Today AQA International, a leading certified body in the quality industry, announces the certification of Pulte Homes’ Nevada Area Operations to ISO 9001:2000. The prestigious and internationally recognized ISO 9001:2000 standard was created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) with the objective of setting requirements for quality management systems. AQA International is a third party certification body; the Pulte Homes Nevada Area certificate affirms that the company has implemented the necessary internal processes to meet obligations for best practices in quality control.

Pulte Homes Inc. is based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Their Nevada Area, which is headquartered in southwest Las Vegas and builds in nearly all of the municipal areas of Southern Nevada, was granted ISO registration on January 6, 2006. AQA International conducted a rigorous review of the documentation and implementation of the Nevada Area quality management system and completed a full audit before granting Pulte Homes the certification.

In order to develop the systems required for ISO 9001:2000, Pulte Homes retained Construction Quality Alliance Partners on a consulting basis. Construction Quality Alliance Partners, LLC has the only Business Process Improvement System that is ISO compatible for the construction industry.

AQA certification to ISO 9001:2000 reinforces to customers through an independent third-party, that Pulte Homes operates a quality management system that is in direct accordance with the standard.
