In Data Collection Executive Overview, we will introduce you to the basic elements of data collection planning. There is an explanation of data in its most basic forms, including the distinction between qualitative and quantitative data. Examples of nominal, ordinal, interval and ratio data are also given. The course introduces ways of obtaining a truly representative sample from which to collect data. The course also discusses various data collection techniques used in recording the observations of data collectors.
